New Website and....

Happy New Year.....

My new website is up and running.....still a few things to tweek ....and add....

www.redshedquilting.net

and that will all come with time.

I am still on "holidays"......and have managed to read a few books and go to the beach with the kids a few times.....BUT I must admit I have been a bit distracted by the new addition to Red Shed Quilting.

I am now stocking the "HQ Sweet 16" sit down longarm quilting machine.Great specials to be had till the end of January.....take a look at the Red Shed Quilting's website for further details.

Sales and tuition available......so I have been playing with that and getting class samples designed and stitched out.
Classes are up on the new website....with samples to follow as completed.

Miss Beth playing with the new "toy".

This year is jam packed full of new ventures as well as quilting for clients. I cant wait to get amongst  it all.
Keen to get back into it. For the next two weeks I will be working half days in the shed (see website for times) and back to work properly on the 27th January.

Enjoy

Linda V. Taylor

A busy week......sent backing fabric as prizes to Adelaide for the Australian Machine Quilting Show which is on over the long weekend......

"Plume" from Lorien Quilting on this lovely.....

Finished this custom for the gorgeous Cath.....

THEN..........
Went to an all day workshop at Kaye and Bruce Brown's "The Finishing Touch" with Linda V Taylor.
I was a small bit excited to meet her as her book came with my machine way back when......and most of the early learning on my longarm came through pouring over the books pages......The 'how to' book of longarm quilting....got it signed....

Linda  demonstrated lots of freehand techniques......reinforced some basics......wowed us with her samples.....wonderful to meet her.

Great to catch up with everyone too.....haven't seen Suzie for a couple of years....
This week will be flat out also.......1 1/2 customs to finish....then a trip to Mum and Dad's for the long weekend...

Fur Babies

It's hard to believe that both our feline fur babies passed away this week within a day of each other....
I love this photo of them taken when Millie was a tiny kitten.....such a look of pure contentment on her face ....totally oblivious to the fact that she was invading Molly's personal space.....
Molly came to us when she was 12....and was nearly 20 when she died.
Millie was nearly 5 when she passed a day later, from an infection in her chest that the vets could not get on top of.....very quiet....as Molly always had to have the last say...
