Yesterday the Sydney Quilt Show Judging Day took place. Many volunteer hands on deck to help get through the huge volume of quilts.
A long day....left the coast at 6am and returned at 7.30pm.
Show starts at Glebe Island next Wed. through to Sun. with the awards ceremony at 1pm this year.
We were really well looked after on the day by Salley and Robin, lots of yummy morning tea and lunch.
Here's Kay, me, and Chris at morning tea.
Dont forget to sell your raffle quilt tickets OR buy a raffle ticket. This years quilt is gorgeous....made by Kaye Brown. See you at the show?

So sad I can't get there to see all the quilts.....
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to be so involved behind the scenes. Hard work too I'm sure. Of course I enjoy some retail therapy, but the Quilt Show is the big draw card for me, love seeing the talent and variety.
