Sydney Quilt Show Judging Day

Yesterday was spent in Sydney helping at the judging day for the Sydney Quilt Show next week. Over 430  quilts so a BIG day with a 7am start....6pm finish....
Gorgeous red and white quilts everywhere.....

27 quilts travelled down with me.....

Some lovely new wide backing fabrics arrived at Red Shed thru' the week.......

Favourite quilt of the week would be this E-2-E finished with Keryn Emmerson's "ric rac"...

Bit of washing on the line......grocery shopping ....then taking the afternoon OFF!!!....

Dad's 80th

Mum and Dad were here most of the long weekend.....mainly to celebrate Dad's 80th.....my brother should haver been here too....but the duffa got the weekend's mixed up......we soldiered on without him...

Getting ready for the Sydney Quilt Show......will be a huge two weeks.
