| I have ordered in some rulers to help get those mitred corners accurate....not many people get it right and end up with awful corners or wavy borders due to not enough fabric being taken out of the corners.....takes all the guess work out of the process....so that you can avoid the mess that you can see below... |

Two E-2-E's done the top one is "Quills" by Lorien Quilting"...its is fast becoming a favourite....and below is 'Wildflower"....
Friday Showcase at the NSW Quilters Guild had Leanne Harvey from Mount Vincent Quilts as the guest quilter...LOTS of lovely BRIGHT, BIG quilts...a nice way to end the week...
The Christmas decorations are up in the shops which always makes me cringe......lots of quilts to get out the door between now and then...

Far too early to think about Christmas, I agree. And that ruler looks interesting, mitred corners are where people usually come undone.
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of gadgets,....... you'll have to let us all know if this Mitre gadget is a foolproof item to have in our stash. I love mitred corners, but I must admit, I could sure do with some improvement hints!.

ReplyDeleteI m with you, I know it s very close to Christmas my niece keeps posting the countdown on Facebook, but I really think that the shops could hold back on the decorating .......
