So Pretty

School holidays has given my daughter Beth a chance to come to "the shed " with me and get her latest quilt ready for quilting. She pin basted, chose her thread colour and began quilting yesterday. I love the colour...so pretty.

Tried out a new pattern "Quills" from Lorien Quilting

On another note...I have put my hand up to be the "Newsletter Editor" for the Austalian Machine Quilting Association.......looking forward to getting stuck into that...
Enjoy your week

The back of a finished custom.....looks like a whole cloth really.....can hopefully show you the front soon. A big week this week...lots of quilting to do......a lot of work has come in....the crazy second half of the year when everything goes pear shaped.

Quilt of the Month

This months

This months Quilt of the month has been won by Anne who made this gorgeous Double Irish Chain in soft pinks and whites for a dear friends birthday. The two have been friends for MANY years!!
The quilt was E-2-E'd with a pattern by Irene Steele called "Passion Vine" one of my favourites.....

We have also removed a wall in the shed to make way for a sewing table...we enjoyed our "Sew-n-chat" so much we have decided to do them on a regular basis....and felt we needed another table...
