Sounds Like a Plan.....

An incredibly busy couple of weeks with lots on.
I'm looking forward to a period of "NORMALITY" now....although my daughter tells me that we don't do normal anymore....where I plan to get back on top of lots of little jobs that need doing.

My stand at Dungog's "Quiltarama". I had a lovely weekend and met lots of wonderful people.

The back of a semi- custom finished.....

Keryn Emmersons "flutterwings"......

Anne Bright's "Botanical Blossums".....

Finished a custom with lots of stitch in the ditch and free hand feathers.....

I want to sell some of the baby quilts that I have been making on line....does anyone have any tips?.....do's and dont's?

Re-organised the chaos in the shed.......

This week I need to finish June and July's Traditional Nine patch Swap blocks.......and quilt...quilt...quilt..

Catching Up...

Managing to catch up on a few things this week.....MAY "Traditional Nine-Patch swap" is done and JUNE is cut out ready to go...

Finished this quilt above with a pattern from Keryn Emmerson called "Shale"...I've had it for a while ...but this is the first time I have used it...LOVE it..

Tried out a new panto from Lorien Quilting called "Sweat Pea"...loved it...

Finished a custom that took a LONG time...lots of stitch in the ditch and straight line work...really happy to get it off the frame...used Keryn Emmersons "Bella Feather'" in the large blocks.

Attended Friday Showcase at the NSW Quilters Guild in Sydney last Friday...Pam Curtis was the guest presenter....a prolific quilter who hand pieces and hand quilts...some lovely work on show.

This weekend coming I am attending "Quiltarama" at Dungog. Held at the Dungog RSLon th 13th and 14th July....come along and see a wonderful display of quilts and "craft" supplies on sale.
Have a great week

Lots Going On...

The end of a really busy June....that has seen lots going on....
As well as all the usual customer quilts to get thru'...June saw me doing "drop off lady" duties for the NSW Quilters Guild annual quilt show for the first time. I really enjoyed it and will definately put my hand up to do it again next year. I loved being behind the scenes on judging day...learn't SO much..

GREAT news with Robyn Harris winning first place at  the Sydney show.... in the "commercially quilted" category with her quilt that was quilted by ME!!!

Last weekend  I travelled up to Brisbane with the girls from "Blueberries" to see the VA Quilt exhibition "Quilts 1700- 1945".......LOVED it...came back inspired to do another LARGE wholecloth...

A wonderful group to go away with.

Now I need to catch up on my "Traditional Nine Patch Swap" blocks......I am 2 months behind....

......And get started on my new project.....

Have a great week.
