A Lovely Morning Tea

Beth and I had a lovely morning with a small bunch of ladies for our "Australias Biggest Morning Tea".

Lots of chatting ....great to catch up...

I finished a small custom quilt....it is going in a magazine so can only show you the back...love how it has turned out.

A close up of the custom quilt that sucked up so much time...glad to see it off the quilting frame....

It felt like Christmas when all the new backing fabrics arrived ....with some gorgeous new flannel widebacks as well.....

Planning a day off today...the sun is out..might take the family out for morning tea...
Have a great week.

It's not red ....it's BURGUNDY...

My APRIL...yes ...april....traditional nine patch block...a bit late. Sorry Trish...hope I dont get kept in at lunchtime...
The lovely Candy from "A Quilters Hive" chose the fabrics for me this month....just keep in mind that I haven't used RED as I usually do....the block is actually BURGUNDY...splitting hairs I know.
